Rob Hammerton, music educator etc.

Why a Blog? (Why a no-chicken?)

Two reasons:

[1] By day, eleven years’ worth of public school music teacher … by night (Thursdays), a church choir director … in a previous career, an editorial type (undergraduate degree in journalism).  Hey!  Let’s make those three biography bullet points slam together.

[2] A friend of mine suggested, sometime ago, that I’d be good at blogging, and interesting to read. What a dangerous thing to suggest…!

Anyway, feel free to take a look around the place.  Kindly comment, but comment kindly (the motto around here is NOT “do unto others, then split”).  Let me know if you like it. Or not.

  1. Hey blogging friend!

Can’t wait to read what you have to say…

  2. Welcome my friend. A piece of us “left behind” for the adventurous souls who dare peek into our cyber mind’s eye is worth the effort it takes to remember to peck at the keyboard every now and again. And if not for the edification of others, for the therapy we all so desperately need. And this is a heck of a lot cheaper than finding a human therapist!

    Have at it Rob!
